How to Send a Wire Transfer
To send a wire transfer from your account:
- Log in to your online banking account.
- Go to Transfers > Wire Transfer.
- Enter the recipient’s banking details, including:
- Full name and address
- Bank name and address
- SWIFT/BIC or ABA routing number
- Account number or IBAN (for international transfers)
- Enter the transfer amount and select the currency.
- Review the details carefully and confirm the transfer.
- You will receive a confirmation email with transaction details.
Receiving a Wire Transfer
To receive a wire transfer, provide the sender with:
- Your full name and address
- Your account number or IBAN
- Your bank’s SWIFT/BIC code or routing number
- Any additional information required for international transfers
Funds will be deposited into your account once processed by the sending bank.
Transfer Processing Times
- Domestic Wire Transfers: Typically completed within 1-2 business days.
- International Wire Transfers: Usually take 3-5 business days, but may be delayed due to intermediary banks.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
If your transfer is delayed or missing:
- Verify that the recipient’s banking details were entered correctly.
- Check your transaction history under Transfers > Wire Transfers.
